BCAC off to a Smashing Start!

The first week of Black Creek Adventure Camp is off to a fabulous start! Despite the thunderstorms, we've been to Lake Carmi, made strawberry shortcake, christened the giant sandpile, sung songs with Al Salzman, learned about compass points and discovered that our US states puzzle is missing one piece...Colorado? We've enjoyed Davey's snakes, gathered materials for making birds' nests and will be making scarecrows for the garden tomorrow. We're waiting for the sun for water balloons, and look forward to getting the pizza oven fired up Thursday afternoon for the Meeting House Open House on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
